Sulok Metro Editor Mr. Hunt noted that the Open Meeting Law requires that notification be mailed to the press 48 hours prior to the time of the Commission meeting. While the notice of the rescheduled November 7th Commission was mailed prior to the forty -eight hour requirement, it reached the South Bend Tribune offices after the Novenber 7th meeting. The Redevelopment staff will make every effort to avoid a recurrence of this situation and will notify the press by telephone if notices of rescheduled or additional Commission meetings are likely to be received late.
