South <br />Resch( <br />e. <br />Be rd <br />Redevelopment Commission <br />�du <br />ed Regular Meeting - June 13, 1986 <br />Ms. <br />Schwartz noted that the Commission enterer <br />int <br />an agreement with Tripods Partnership fox <br />their <br />development on this site that included <br />the <br />request that an easement along the St. <br />Joseph <br />River to granted to the Park <br />Department. <br />That easement is in the process <br />of <br />oeing prepared and will be granted to the <br />Par< <br />Board very shortly. <br />Mr. <br />Hunt asked that Resolution No. 777 be <br />amended <br />to add the specific request of three <br />years <br />of property abatement. <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by <br />Mr. . Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Comnission <br />approved Resolution No. 777, as <br />aimaded, <br />approving an application for real <br />property <br />tax deduction for Tripods <br />Partnership. <br />Ccm[nission <br />approval requested for a lease with <br />the <br />Greater Christian Tabernacle Church in <br />conjunction <br />with acqLaisition within the South <br />Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Hunt explained that this is the standard <br />Mr. <br />interim <br />lease with owners of the property that <br />the <br />Commission is purchasing within the <br />Stanley <br />Coveleski Stadium project area. Rent <br />will <br />start July 1, 1986 in the sum of $300.00 <br />per <br />month. The lease will be retroactive to <br />April <br />9, 1986 which was the date of closing. <br />Upot <br />a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. <br />Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Co <br />ssion approved a lease with the Greater <br />Christian <br />Tabernacle Church in conjunction <br />with <br />acquisition within the South Bend Central <br />Development <br />Area. <br />C=dssion <br />authorization requested to petition <br />for <br />vacation of an alley in the vicinity of <br />Michigan <br />and Main Streets within the South <br />Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Matthews pointed out on a map the <br />Ms. <br />east./west <br />alley being petitioned for vacation <br />bounded <br />by Wayne, Michigan, Western and Main <br />Str <br />ets.
