TEST 5: LID TEST <br />TEST DESCRIPTION: To determine if a container lid will sustain the weight of an average child <br />(approximately 80 pounds) without collapsing into the container. <br />DATE: February 9, 2016 <br />SUBJECT: Plastic Refuse Container <br />PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION: Rehrig 95 EG ROC <br />MINIMUM PERFORMANCE STANDARD: According to ANSI Z245.30 (paragraph 7.2.4.2.8 and Appendix G), <br />the lid of the cart must withstand a load of 80 pounds without collapsing or allowing the loading weight to <br />fall into the container. <br />TEST PROCEDURE: <br />1. The ROC is placed on a smooth, level, horizontal surface. <br />2. A weight of 80 pounds with a surface area diameter round of 8 inches is placed on the lid of the <br />ca rt. <br />3. The test is to be conducted at room temperature. <br />TEST RESULTS: <br />The lid did not collapse or excessively deflect during the test. <br />SUMMARY: The ROC passed the ANSI Z245.30 standard. <br />Appendix 5: Test setup photos. <br />SETE 6E4 September 28, 2016 Page 6 of 16 <br />
