The staff will accept these SERVICES RELATED TO THE proposals and solicit additional proposals. L. KEEN BUILDING The Proposals will be reviewed and the staff will report back to the Commission at another Mrs. Kol to noted that the Design Review PROGRESS REPORTS Conraittee met on May 8th and approved the design plans for the South Bend Central Parking Facility. Plans for the facility will be bid probably within the next three weeks. The plan allows for a total of 111 parking spaces. The facility will have one level of surface parking and one level underground. Above ground will be the parking booth, a covered driveway entrance, a pedestrian entrance and landscaping that will tie in with the Teac ers Credit Union building and Michigan Street landscaping. The Design Review Committee also approved plans for the South Bend Orthopedic Center to be locat on LaSalle Avenue on the east side of the river. The Center will be two stories with bri k design. There are a couple of minor to finical issues that have been assigned to Gretc en Matthews and Jim Cook to be resolved. Also conditionally approved by the Design Review C mmittee were the plans for the One East Race project. The outstanding issues included the colors to be used that were assigned to Gretchen Matthews and Jim Cook to be resol ed. Mrs. Kol to noted that there will be another Design Review Committee meeting scheduled in the near future to review additional projects. Mrs. Kol to reported that the Michigan Street project is on schedule and going along well. A meeting was held on May 9th with some members of Center City Associates who are very enthused about the project. -8-
