OLD <br />elopment Commission <br />- May 9, 1986 <br />NS (Cont.) <br />Mrs. Kolata read the following communication <br />rec ived by the Design Review Committee: <br />April 29, 1986 <br />Dear{ Design Review Committee: <br />as <br />but <br />Nei <br />I regret that I must resign my position <br />member of the Design Review Committee, <br />s I have moved out of the Monroe Park <br />borhood I must do so. Thank you. <br />Sincerely, <br />Joellen Wrobel <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the resignation is in <br />effect as of May 1, 1986. The staff will come <br />back to the Commission with a recommendation <br />for replacement of Ms. Wrobel on the <br />ttee. <br />Mr. imtz asked that a letter be sent to Ms. <br />Wrohel thanking her for services to the Design <br />Review Committee. <br />a. Commission authorization and ratification <br />requested for filing of a petition and <br />ordinance for vacation of streets and all, <br />within the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that this petition <br />involves streets and alleys within the Stanley <br />Cov leski Regional Stadium project area. <br />Prior to the land for the stadium to be <br />conveyed to Security Pacific all the necessary <br />streets and alleys must be vacated. The <br />vacation will involve approximately 3 -4 alleys <br />between Lafayette, Taylor, Monroe and South <br />Streets, and a portion of William and Monroe <br />Streets on Redevelopment owned property. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized and ratified filing of a <br />-3- <br />COMMUNICATION READ OF <br />RESIGNATION OF JOELEEN <br />WROBEL FROM THE DESIGN <br />REVIEW COMMITTEE <br />
