Co. <br />elopment Commission <br />- October 25, 1985 <br />(Cont.) <br />beyond the retainage fee, the Bureau of <br />ng will pay the difference. <br />Mrs Kolata noted that Laura Davis, 306 N. <br />Walnut, is a City employee within the <br />Neighborhood Code Enforcement Department. <br />Upoii the approval of the original loan it was <br />determined that there was no conflict of <br />int rest involved. <br />UpoA a motion made by Mr. Combs, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the PROPOSALS INiCONNECTION <br />Comiission approved proposals in connection WITH THE AFFORDABLE LOAN <br />wi th the Affordable Loan Program as listed PROGRAM AS LISTED ABOVE <br />c. Co ssion approval requested for a commercial <br />lease with Charismatic Renewal Services, Inc., <br />for a property located at 221 N. Michigan <br />Mr. Rick Pitts explained that this lease <br />involves leasing the rights to gain access to <br />the facade and immediate interior of the <br />former Roma building located at 221 N. <br />Michigan Street. The purpose of the lease is <br />to remove extraneous material such as boards <br />covering the windows, signs, wood shingles, <br />etc A list of items needed to improve the <br />fate appearance of the building was <br />prepared. The owners have agreed to perform <br />the portion of those items that can be done by <br />their maintenance personnel. This minimal <br />improvement of the former Roma building will <br />tie in with the renovation of the Palais <br />Royale and the Morris Civic. This may also <br />create some interest in the purchase and <br />co lete renovation of the Roma building. The <br />wor will begin within five days after <br />not fication to the low bid contractor. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED A COM- <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the MERCIAL LEASE WITH CHARIS- <br />Co ssion approved a commercial lease with MATIC RENEWAL SERVICES, <br />Charismatic Renewal Services, Inc., for a INC., FOR PROPERTY LOCATED <br />property located at 221 N. Michigan Street. AT 221 N. MICHIGAN STREET <br />-4- <br />
