The <br />Comnission in turn leased the area from <br />She fer's to maintain the responsibility of <br />upk ep and accessibility by the public during <br />non business hours. <br />Ms. Auburn noted that as Chair of the <br />Comnission meeting she normally does not vote, <br />but if in a voting capacity Ms. Auburn would <br />dec are a conflict of interest with Sheffer <br />Upoa a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by . Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Comnission approved a Commercial Lease with <br />Co unique Advertising, Inc. <br />Mrs. Ko ata reported that Luann McMorris, who <br />has been working as an Accounting Clerk within <br />the Department of Redevelopment for the past <br />4 -5 years, has accepted a position with the <br />City Controller's office. The Commissioners <br />and staff conveyed their thanks to Luann for a <br />good joz> and wished her well in her new <br />positio . <br />Mrs. Ko ata also reported that the Department <br />receive our annual HUD monitoring letter. We <br />receivel some very complimentary comments <br />concerning the staff, particularly in the <br />monitoring, program planning, and program <br />analysi areas. Also noted was the Bureau of <br />Housing. Mrs. Kolata acknowledged that there <br />were no major problems in the monitoring <br />letter, and that we are very proud of the <br />staff t at performed the work noted. <br />Ms. Aubarn also noted that HUD has <br />consistantly raved about the quality of the <br />Redevel pment staff, and noted that the <br />Commission would like to thank the staff for a <br />job well done. <br />-7- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED A <br />CCMMERCIAL LEASE WITH <br />COMMUNIQUE ADVERTISING, INC. <br />PROGRESS REPORTS <br />
