NEW BUSMSS (Cont.) <br />that is needed which may allow the <br />m to proceed more rapidly.. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Combs, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Comnission approved the Bureau of Housing <br />Rental Rehab Loan Program Guidelines. <br />f. Comnission a royal requested for appointments <br />to the Design Review Committee for the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. <br />Mrs Kolata stated that previously the <br />Coinnission appointed five persons to the <br />Des gn Review Committee leaving three <br />vaczmcies still remaining. The staff is <br />recommending that the Commission appoint James <br />Coo as a representative of the East Bank, <br />Wil -iam Kemp as a representative of the <br />Cen ral Business District, and Joellen Wrobel <br />as representative of Monroe Park. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved appointments of James <br />Cook, William Kemp, and Joellen Wrobel to the <br />Design Review Committee for the South Bend <br />Cen ral Development Area. <br />The Chair thanked Glenda Rae Hernandez for the <br />t' and effort that she contributed during <br />her previous appointment to the Design Review <br />Conpittee as a representative of Monroe Park. <br />g. Commission approval requested for a Commercial <br />Lea e with Comm miaue Advertisina. Inc. <br />Mrs Kolata explained that this lease involves <br />property located. behind Sheffer Advertising on <br />Colfax Avenue. The Commission previously sold <br />some property to Sheffer Advertising for a <br />parking lot. After the parking lot was <br />con trusted it was apparent that there were <br />so problems with traffic primarily with the <br />trucks going to the Morris Civic Auditorium <br />and Water Works Department traffic.
