They <br />d veloped it on the cost guidelines that they <br />could rent the office space for as low as <br />$ .00 per square foot. They have shown that <br />t-iey will put up 43% of the financing and the <br />rest is coming from a local bank. Mr. Way <br />n ted that, if in development of the project, <br />someone would be interested into entering into <br />a lease for the first floor as a specialty <br />s op or a restaurant, they would consider a <br />rtion of their building to be developed <br />a ong that line but not the entire building as <br />ev feel it would not be suitable for the <br />. Nigel Hawman asked Mr. Way what nature of <br />sinesses did he feel would locate in the <br />. Way responded they feel with the store <br />font they would offer a walk -in type of <br />c ientele. They have talked to Chris Davey of <br />Cressy & Everett, and feel with the commercial <br />a ea they might be able to attract some <br />p ofessional services such as a lawyer, <br />d ntist, or insurance office. <br />Kolata noted that Mr. Way's project is <br />mated at approximately $165,000 for the <br />vation of the building. Mr. Way noted <br />they left some leeway for cost overruns <br />their bid was slightly higher. Mr. Way <br />ed they would be asking for tax abatement. <br />. Jerry Janda, Colonial Food Service, <br />esented the third proposal. Mr. Janda <br />ated that Colonial Food Service provides <br />f- premise and on- premise food service <br />tering. Colonial Food Service has recently <br />panded into some more commercial accounts in <br />e Chicago area such as a deli in the <br />kbrook Mall. Their corporate headquarters <br />in Naperville, Indiana. Mr. Janda stated <br />ey did some similar studies on the need in <br />e community for the residential area, light <br />dustrial area, and the downtown area. Their <br />-5- <br />
