I • ORDINANCE NO. c7 4(4 0 ..Q Ie AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $66,060. 00 FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (E.M.S. ) CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND (FUND # 288) STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT Certain expenses of the Emergency Medical Services division of the City of South Bend Fire Department, including the emergency repair of an air compressor, as well as the replacement of a river rescue boat and a lease-purchase payment for Engine No. 3 , have or will soon come due. The Common Council of the City of South Bend has determined that it is necessary and appropriate to make payment of these expenses and to appropriate sufficient funds from he E.M.S. Capital Improvement Fund in order to do so, and that it is in the best interests of the City that the same occur. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I . That the amount of $66,060. 00 shall be and hereby is appropriated in 1993 and ordered set apart within the Emergency Medical Services (E.M.S. ) Capital Improvement Fund (Fund # 288) , as set forth below, for the payment of the indicated expenses of the Emergency Medical Services division of the City of South Bend Fire Department: FUND # 288: ACCOUNT PROJECT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 288-0902-422-43-05 Fire Station Air Compressor $ 22,300. 00 Replace Boat I $ 17,500. 00 288-0902-422-37-02 Lease-Purchase - Engine 43 $ 26,260. 00 $ 66,060.00 SECTION II . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval of the Mayor.
