It proposes small changes on several items which we hope will enhance the
First District efficiency of our internal operations. There are basically five (5) areas addressed:
Cleo Washington (1)Changing the Organizational Meeting to an evening meeting so that it would
Second District be more accessible to the public.
Roland Kelly 2 Having the Chairperson of the Standing Committee who would have
This District ( ) g 'P g
jurisdiction over a new piece of legislation, sign a proposed Bill initiated by the City
Ann Puzzello Administration when at all possible. We believe that this would help facilitate more on-
Fourth District going processing of information.
Linas Slavinskas (3) Having the City Clerk's Office regularly send a copy of the Committee
Fifth District meeting notice, as well as copies of the items to be heard by the Committee, to citizen
Thomas Zakrzewski members.
Sixth District (4) Renaming three (3) of the Standing Committees of the Council to better
Sean Coleman reflect their responsibilities.
At Large
(5) Require annual updating of various information on all Boards,
Loretta Duda Commissions, Committees, etc., of the City and sending the same to the Mayor,
At Large Council and City Clerk.
Eugene Ladewski Please review these suggestions carefully so we may discuss them when the Bill is sent
At Large to the Council Rules Committee for review and recommendation. I look forward to
hearing your thoughts and to receiving your comments.
Kathleen Cekanski-Farra 't0 S truly,
Council Attorney
zze o
Council President
AP:bln
Attachment
