NEW <br />a <br />h. <br />i. <br />nd Redevelopment <br />Commission <br />Meeting <br />- January 11, 1985 <br />BUSINESS <br />(Cont.) <br />Continued... <br />Mrs. <br />Kolata explained that this contract <br />provides <br />for $150,000 of Community Developmen <br />funds <br />to be spent by Redevelopment within the <br />East <br />Bank Development Area. The activity <br />would <br />involve acquisition, public <br />imp <br />ovements, clearance, and will go along <br />with <br />Section 108 funds set aside for ongoing <br />pro <br />ects throughout the year. The contract <br />runE <br />until December 31, 1985. <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. <br />Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />CormLission <br />approved a contract with Community <br />Development <br />for East Bank Development Activit <br />(CD <br />5 -605). <br />CormLission <br />approval requested for a contract <br />wit <br />Community Development for Rum Village <br />Industrial <br />Park Development Activity <br />(CD <br />5 -606). <br />Kolata explained that this contract <br />Mrs. <br />provides <br />for $15,000 of Community Development <br />funds <br />to be spent by Redevelopment within the <br />Rum <br />Village Industrial Park. The money would <br />be used <br />to develop a detailed development plat <br />for <br />industrial use of the Industrial Park. <br />The <br />contract runs until December 31, 1985. <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Ms. <br />Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />CoimLission <br />approved a contract with Community <br />Development <br />for Rum Village Industrial Park <br />Development <br />Activity (CD85 -606). <br />CormLission <br />authorization requested to send <br />letter <br />of commitment to Department of Housing <br />and <br />Urban Development related to the Teachers <br />Credit <br />Union project. <br />Kolata explained that this letter <br />Mrs. <br />involves <br />the application before the Departmen <br />of Ebusing <br />and Urban Development for an Urban <br />Development <br />Action Grant related to the <br />Teachers <br />Credit Union project. There are a <br />nurnter <br />of items that must be submitted prior <br />to final <br />approval of the Grant.
