Provide for the recruitment, hiring and <br />employment of minorities and women; <br />b. Contain appropriate specific goals and <br />timetables for the recruitment, hiring and <br />employment of minorities and women within each job <br />category of the business in order to measure its <br />progress in eliminating any underrepresentation of <br />minorities and women. underrepresentation is <br />determined as follows: <br />i. Jobs which do not re uire s ecial <br />skills. The goals for job categories which do <br />not require special skills shall be in <br />proportion to the overall percentage of <br />minorities and women within the area work force <br />(depending on your relevant employment area); <br />ii. Jobs which require special skills. <br />The goals for job categories which require <br />special skills shall be in proportion to the <br />overall percentage of minorities and women <br />within the area work force (depending on your <br />relevant employment area) who have the <br />educational and experience requirements for the <br />job category; and <br />c. Be reviewed, updated, and submitted to each <br />applicable City contracting agency annually. <br />bidder may submit its application to the Board of Public Works <br />ce or the Park Board Office for review in advance to determine <br />t meets the requirements of the ordinance. Bidders who wish to <br />usiness with more than one board should indicate that fact on <br />r application. Duplicate applications are not required. A minority -owned or women -owned business <br />iesires to submit , bid or quote on a City contract is eligible <br />certified as a Minority Business Enterprise or a Women <br />less Enterprise.
