They are <br />planning <br />to construct a 20,000 square foot <br />office/warehouse <br />building that will be leased <br />to <br />Slutsky -Peltz Plumbing & Heating. The <br />project <br />will create approximately 5 new <br />peimanent <br />jobs and the total project cost is <br />$785,000. <br />Commission approval is necessary <br />because <br />the project falls within a Tax <br />Incremental <br />Financing Allocation Area. <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded <br />by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, <br />Resolution <br />No. 709 approving an application <br />for <br />real property tax deduction was approved. <br />Conmission <br />approval requested for Resolution <br />No <br />710 commending Kevin C. Horton for <br />meritorious <br />service to the Department of <br />Re <br />evelopment. <br />a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Upon <br />Mr. <br />Donaldson and unanimously carried, <br />Resolution <br />No. 710 commending Kevin C. Horton <br />for <br />meritorious service to the Department of <br />Re <br />evelopment was approved. <br />Conmission <br />authorization is requested for the <br />President <br />and Secretary to execute a corrected <br />de Ed <br />designating Park Center Associates as <br />grantee <br />for Parcels No. 5 and 7 in the <br />Morroe-Sample <br />Development Area and approval of <br />an <br />amendment to the Redevelopment Agreement <br />reflecting <br />the corrected name. <br />Kevin Butler, attorney for the <br />Mr. <br />paitnership, <br />explained that the original bid <br />foi <br />Parcels No. 5 and 7 in the Monroe- Sample <br />De <br />elopment Area was submitted in the name of <br />Park <br />Point Associates.
