South B <br />Regular <br />C:7 <br />e. <br />end Redevelopment <br />Ccmmission <br />Meeting <br />- March 9, 1984 <br />BUSINESS <br />(Cont.) <br />approval requested for contract <br />CormLission <br />with <br />Lang Feeney & Associates to perform <br />replat <br />survey work in the Monroe Sample <br />Development <br />Area. <br />Rick Pitts explained that, due to new <br />Mr. <br />development <br />in the Monroe Sample Development <br />Area, <br />the City of South Bend ordinance <br />reqdires <br />the replat of the area. Two <br />estimates <br />were received from firms who have <br />donE <br />survey work in this area. Lang Feeney & <br />Ass <br />ciates' estimate was for $5,700, and <br />Ter <br />itorial Engineering's estimate was for <br />$6,C10. <br />The staff recommendation was to go <br />wi <br />the low proposal from Lang Feeney & <br />Associates <br />in the amount of $5,700. <br />Upo <br />a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded b <br />Mr. <br />Donaldson and unanimously carried, a <br />contract <br />with Lang Feeney & Associates to <br />perform <br />replat survey work in the Monroe <br />SanTle <br />Development Area was approved. <br />Co mission <br />approval requested for Addendum t <br />Agreement <br />between the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, <br />through its Department of <br />and Kevin J. Butler for legal <br />Redevelopment, <br />services <br />relating to the Department. <br />Schwartz explained that last year the <br />Ms. <br />Co mission <br />entered into an Agreement with <br />Kevin <br />J. Butler for legal services which <br />expired <br />at the end of 1983. Mr. Butler is <br />involved <br />in several matters, chiefly in <br />litigation, <br />which are continuing and should 1 <br />finished <br />by April 15, 1984. This Addendum <br />continues <br />Mr. Butler's contract until he has <br />completed <br />these pending items. <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconder <br />by Mr. <br />Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Adde <br />dum to Agreement between the City of <br />Sou <br />Bend, Indiana, through its Department < <br />Rede <br />elopment, and Kevin J.
