The roofing category was <br />brcadened. to be more specific on the type of <br />repiirs allowed. Also revised was the sewer <br />fun procedures to cover sewer repair costs <br />ove $500 instead of $1,000. <br />Upo a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Em gency Repair Program Guidelines were <br />app owed. <br />c. C ssion approval requested for <br />Lo program Guidelines. <br />Ms. Janet Holston explained that the <br />eligibility criteria was lowered fran the <br />applicant's gross annual inane falling at or <br />below 1000 of the median income to 80% of the <br />median income as determined by HUD's new <br />Co unity Development regulations. Also the <br />lano contract refinancing procedures were <br />Upo a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Affordable Loan Program Guidelines were <br />approved. <br />d. C ssion approval requested for Rental Rehab <br />Pr ram Guidelines. <br />Ms. Janet Holston explained that for the <br />Rental Rehab Program a waiver was received <br />from HUD on the Section 8 certificates that <br />have been part of the program. They now can <br />be used not only to protect persons in place <br />at the time of rehab but will also be <br />available to the landlord to rent vacant <br />units.
