South Bend edevelopment Commission Rescheduled Regular Meeting - December 15, 1983 6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) h. Continued... WHEREAS, through the years, he has mastered the intricacies, "fine print ", and "subparagraphs" of the many regulations of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, by his expert knowledge and advice to the Commission, he has been instrumental in the Commission maintaining a high public image in the community of its doings and activities; and WHEREAS, by his endeavors and representation of the Commission, he has performed a valuable service to the citizens of the City of South Bend and placed his mark on the growth and development of the City; and WHEREAS, Kevin J. Butler has determined that he must leave the service of the Commission and devote his skill and efforts to his private practice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Redevelopment Commission hereby commends Kevin J. Butler for his meritorious service to the Commission and to the City of South Bend for the past twelve (12) years and extends their bes wishes for his endeavors in his legal carter in the years to come. Passed unanimously by the Redevelopment Commission of the City of South Bend the 15th day of December, 1983. Mr. Nimtz moved the adoption of Resolution No. 693 commending Kevin J. Butler for meritorious se ice as Chief Legal Counsel for the Redevelopment Commission. Mr. Donaldson seconded the motion and it was unanimously carried. Mr. Butler stated that he has enjoyed the twelve years he has served for the Commission. He u-cmended the Redevelopment staff for their pro essionalism and service to the -7- RESOLUTION NO. 693 VMS ADOPTED COMMENDING KEVIN J.
