Continued... <br />WHEREAS, through the years, he has <br />mastered the intricacies, "fine print ", and <br />"subparagraphs" of the many regulations of the <br />United States Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development; and <br />WHEREAS, by his expert knowledge and <br />advice to the Commission, he has been <br />instrumental in the Commission maintaining a <br />high public image in the community of its <br />doings and activities; and <br />WHEREAS, by his endeavors and <br />representation of the Commission, he has <br />performed a valuable service to the citizens <br />of the City of South Bend and placed his mark <br />on the growth and development of the City; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Kevin J. Butler has determined <br />that he must leave the service of the <br />Commission and devote his skill and efforts to <br />his private practice. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the <br />Redevelopment Commission hereby commends Kevin <br />J. Butler for his meritorious service to the <br />Commission and to the City of South Bend for <br />the past twelve (12) years and extends their <br />bes wishes for his endeavors in his legal <br />carter in the years to come. <br />Passed unanimously by the Redevelopment <br />Commission of the City of South Bend the 15th <br />day of December, 1983. <br />Mr. Nimtz moved the adoption of Resolution No. <br />693 commending Kevin J. Butler for meritorious <br />se ice as Chief Legal Counsel for the <br />Redevelopment Commission. Mr. Donaldson <br />seconded the motion and it was unanimously <br />carried. <br />Mr. Butler stated that he has enjoyed the <br />twelve years he has served for the Commission. <br />He u-cmended the Redevelopment staff for their <br />pro essionalism and service to the <br />-7- <br />RESOLUTION NO. 693 VMS <br />ADOPTED COMMENDING KEVIN J. <br />BUTLER FOR MERITORIOUS <br />SERVICE AS CHIEF LEGAL <br />COUNSEL, FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION <br />
