Sou <br />Reg <br />5. <br />3 <br />th <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />alar <br />Meeting - May 27, 1983 <br />OLD <br />BUSINESS <br />Commission authorization requested to enter <br />a. <br />into agreement with an architect for prepara- <br />tion of specifications in anticipation of <br />receiving bids for exterior restoration in,,. <br />Max's Grocery Store in Monroe Park. <br />Mr.' Hunt stated that we received proposals <br />from Mathew - Purucker and Anella in the amount <br />of $2,250.00. We also received a proposal <br />from Jim Childs and Associates in the amount <br />of $2,483.75. <br />Mr. Robinson moved and Mr. Piasecki seconded <br />the motion to enter into an agreement with <br />Mathew- Purucker and Anella for the prepara- <br />tion and specifications in anticipation_ for <br />receiving bids for exterior restoration of <br />Max's Grocery in Monroe Park, and it was unani- <br />mously carried. <br />NEW <br />BUSINESS <br />Commission approval re guested for the proposal <br />a. <br />in connection with the South Bend Home Improve- <br />ment Loan Program. <br />Name <br />Contractor Amount <br />Oph <br />lia Pates Jurtin Const. Co. $1,074.00 <br />1119 <br />W. Thomas <br />Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Piasecki and moved by <br />Mr. <br />Robinson a contract in the amount of $1,074 <br />will <br />be awarded to Jurtin Construction for a home <br />located <br />at 1119 W. Thomas for Ophelia Pates. It <br />was <br />unanimously carried. <br />b. <br />ommission approval requested for the following <br />proposals in connection with the 312 Loan Pro - <br />ram. <br />eon a motion made by Mr. Robinson and seconded <br />y Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />proposed contract was awarded to V.V. Engle for <br />work to be done at 814 N. St. Peter for William <br />and Catherine Howell. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Piasecki and seconded <br />y Mr. Robinson and unanimously carried the pro <br />osed contract was awarded to Jurtih_.Constructi, <br />work to be done at 1142,: -N.
