Continued.... <br />Mrs Baumgartner explained that she had met with <br />And ' Place of Workmasters, Inc., to be sure that <br />he could perform the work on these contracts with- <br />in he allowed time period. Mr. Place has assured <br />the Bureau of Housing that he can meet the time <br />req irements. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded by CONTRACTS AWARDED TO WORK - <br />Mr. Donaldson and unanimously carried, contracts MASTERS, INC., FOR 643 E. <br />were awarded to Workmasters, Inc., in the amount BRONSON, 616 E. SOUTH AND <br />of $16,374 for 643 Bronson Street, $16,450 for 604 S. CARROLL <br />616 E. South Street and $9,454 for 604 S. Carroll. <br />g. CoIn ission authorization requested to execute a <br />u-claim eed relative to Parcels 22 -3A and 22- <br />4A Indiana R -66. <br />Mr. Butler explained that when Redevelopment ac- <br />quired Parcel 22 -3A in 1973 there was an error in <br />the legal description on the deed. The action re- <br />que ted today would deed back to the owners any <br />interest we might have and will clean the title. <br />Upoi a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously.carried, the Presi- <br />den and Secretary were authorized to execute a <br />qui -claim deed for Parcel 22 -4A in the Indiana <br />R-6i area. <br />h. Com ission approval requested to obtain new a - <br />pra sals for Parcel 22 -4A in Indiana R -66. <br />Mrs Kolata stated that Parcel 22 -4A was a small <br />piece of land along the service drive in the block <br />bou ded by Western, Main, Monroe and Michigan Street. <br />The Commission was authorized to purchase the prop- <br />ert3 in the early 1970's but the purchase was never <br />com leted. The or owner has since died and <br />his heir is selling the property on land contract. <br />We vould like to get new appraisals for this parcel <br />so that we might complete this transaction. The <br />parcel must be acquired if the service drive were <br />eve to be widened, as originally planned, in that <br />blo k. <br />PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY <br />AUTHORIZED TO EXECUTE QUIT - <br />CLAIM DEED FOR PARCEL 22 -4A <br />IN THE INDIANA R -66 AREA <br />Upor a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded by COMMISSION AUTHORIZED NEW <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the staff was APPRAISALS FOR PARCEL 224A <br />aut orized to obtain new appraisals for Parcel 22- IN THE INDIANA R -66 AREA. <br />4A in the Indiana R -66 area. <br />-5- <br />
