The Division of Utilities and Division of Engineering reviewed the documents and finds the information correct and complete. The Bids ranked as follows- ................ ............ __ ............ Unit Price Bid Bidder "Per Truck Per Hour" 1. Trucks R Us $119.00 The Division of Utilities and Division of En ineerin recommend Award of the contract for the 2020 Trucking of Biosolids for Land Application to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Trucks R Us at the unit price bid of $119.00 per truck per hour. The total contract amount shall be issued as a not to exceed contract based on the 2020 Budget for Land Application. We kindly request that the Board of Public Works consider the approval of the subject contract at March 10, 2020 Regular Meeting. The MWBE Goal for the project was set at 5% per the bid documents. Trucks R Us has committed to a 10% project goal (per MWBE Form 1.0) and intends to employ Kennedy Expressline, Inc. to provide MBE trucking to supply vehicles to haul biosolids. Kennedy Expressline, Inc. assisted Trucks R Us during the 2019 Land Application contract. The Division of Utilities will appropriate sufficient funds from the Organic Resources Contractual Services Other Account 641-0630-793-63-35 .
