LaSalle Ae. South Bend

Justin –

Per our ongoing dialogue/preliminary staff review of this project, several of the
application items may qualify for Administrative Approval but we can anticipate the
window mechanism replacement to be heard by the Historic Preservation Commission
under public hearing. Please submit additional by March 2 to be included on the March
16 HPC meeting agenda.

Please refer to the checklist on page 3 and submit additional items for a complete
application, specifically:

‐ Product specifications
‐ Site plan referencing project areas. Coordinating the site plan with the submitted
photographs would make the projects more clear.
‐ Please include a photo of all sides effected by project, including all windows being
applied for. The condition of the windows will be important to demonstrate to
making a case that they are deteriorated beyond repair; this can be done through
photographs (condition from interior/exterior), a site visit by Historic
Preservation Site Inspector and/or Preservation Specialist, or by a professional of
window repair.
‐ No need for blueprints, as listed on checklist.
‐ $20 payment can be made by calling Michelle Adams, business license
administrator at 574/235.5912.

Thank you,

Elicia

From: Justin Tyrrell <jtyrrell@incap.org>
Sent: Thursday, February 6, 2020 11:46 AM
To: Elicia Feasel <efeasel@southbendin.gov>
Cc: Adam Toering <atoering@southbendin.gov>; Doni Funkhouser
<doni5@hotmail.com>
Subject: RE: 713 W. I have attached:

COA Application‐ This version should be easier to read than the signed copy and
I made one important change. We are only going to be addressing the porch on
side D. Side A has already been replaced.
Signed COA Application
