Clean up all dust and debris. Install <br />1"x 4" pressure treated tongue and groove, fir strip flooring <br />using screw shank nails or power activated staples. Install <br />molding around columns and along walls as necessary. All <br />molding must blend with existing moldings or replicate as <br />necessary. Prime and paint to match existing and in <br />accordance with manufacturer's specification. This provision shall be permanent. Caulk to <br />eliminate all air infiltration with siliconized acrylic. Mist defective <br />paint with water to the point of saturation. Wet scrape, wet <br />sand, wash with detergent solution, rinse and allow all window <br />components to dry. HEPA vacuum any visible paint chips, dust <br />and debris. Apply an encapsulant per manufacturers <br />requirements to ensure longevity. Following encapsulation <br />apply a high quality latex paint to the interior and exterior of the <br />window components. Owner to approve color, but trim should <br />match remaining trim and window sash, trough, jamb, etc. shall <br />match other windows within the residence. <br />L1 - Curved Window <br />Trade: 219 Lead Abatement <br />9506 5.00 EADOOR - STRIP & ENCAP $980.00 $4,900.00 <br />After establishing any required floor containment with <br />polyethylene sheeting, remove door hinge pins and carry to a <br />fully contained lead work room. Place pins in plastic bag on <br />jamb for safekeeping. Plane door edges and adjust the hasp <br />and strike plate to minimize door/jamb friction and contact. Mist <br />deteriorated paint with water to the point of saturation. If door <br />contains LBP, remove all paint from friction and impact surfaces <br />and encapsulate remaining portion of door. If not LBP, clean <br />and de-gloss with detergent wash, rinse, dry and HEPA vacuum <br />any paint chips, dust and debris. <br />Remove all lead-based paint from all friction and impact <br />surfaces (i.e. jamb, stop molding, threshold, etc.). Encapsulate <br />all nonfriction/impact surfaces. Workers must wear protective <br />gloves, disposable, full body, protective clothing and face shield. <br />Protect all areas not to be stripped. Apply caustic paste and any <br />recommended cover sheet in accordance with manufacturer's <br />specifications. Collect residue and rinse water in 55 gal drums <br />compatible with caustic.
