Mrs. Baumgartner stated that the Bureau of Housing investigated the work of Orlando Bowens and A.A. Fleming and received financial statements from them. Upon a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by Mr. Robinson and unanimously carried, the con- tracts for Carlis Phillips at 1106 W. Washington were awarded as follows: $300.00 to Orlando Bowens, $180.00 to John's Floor Service, $937.00 to A.A. Fleming, and $480.00 to Mosby's Painting and Decorating. b. Commission approval requested for awarding of proposals in connection with the Homestead and South Bend Home Improvement Loan Programs in ac- cordance with the recommendation from the Bureau of Housing.
