Robinson, Sr., Member, Redevelopment Commission <br />FROM: Roger O. Parent <br />As I have discussed with you earlier, I am recommending <br />that you appoint Mr. Jon R. Hunt Executive Director of <br />the South Bend Department of Redevelopment, effective <br />May 1, 982. By virtue of appointment to that post, Mr. <br />Hunt will also direct all of the City's economic develop- <br />ment ac ivities, including the Community Development pro- <br />gram. <br />Since January, 1980, Mr. Hunt has been my Administrative <br />Assistant. In that capacity, he has been involved in all <br />aspects of City government, including many of the City's <br />development projects, housing and community development <br />program.,;. <br />Prior to becoming Administrative Assistant, he served in <br />the Cit 's Community Development Program as a planner, <br />Deputy Director and Director.
