Tuesday Sept. 8thy 1903.. The Board of Public Works met in regular session in the office of the Board -at lA A.M. all members being present when the meeting was called to order at 10.. A.M. Hearing was had on the assessment roll of benefits and awards of damages in the relocation of May street. The Board find that the property of Del C. and Kittie Mg Leer is benefited in the amount of $50.00 above that shown on said roll; that the property of John Rohrer and the Joel Shively estate is not benefited in the amounts shown on said roll by.25.00 each respectively; and the Board accordingly caused said roll to be so changed that the above additions and reductions iaay appear thereon. No remonstrants appearing against said amended roll the Board find that. said roll should be and the same is hereby confirmed, ratified, and approved, and that the assessment Roll of benefits and awards of damages filed duly 25th.,�1903, is accordingly confirmed, ratified and approved. i Improvement Resolution +157. Resolved by the BoArd of Public works of the City of South ®f South Bend indiane: That an improvement be made of the kind, size and location and terminal points as follows: Cement walks on S. Taylor street in front of lots 9 and 10, Block7o Vails add* owned by Rliza 0. Murray. Said improvement hhall be known and designated as a *S. Taylor st. special walks" and shall be constructed according to the plans;and specifications prepared by the city civil engineer filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above: work shall be pub— lished on the loth, and the 17th. days of Sept., 1903, in the South Bend Daily Time and the South Bend Daily Tribune.. Said walk to be extended to the curb line and include the construction of the cement curb. Said Improvement shall be known and designated as the E.LaSalle avenue special Curb and walk and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil FIngineer, filed herewith.
