UWJ <br />Saturday...September 26th, 1903.. <br />The Board met in regular session in the office of the Board at 10 a.m. all e <br />members being present. <br />The Board adopted the following rules affecting the Garbage Crematory. <br />Garbage -collectors will be required to collect the kitchen garbage from private resid— <br />ences only. Saloons, hotels, Boarding houses,etc., must provide for the removal <br />Of the Garbage from their premises. <br />2. All kitchen garbage should be placed in suitable sessels.preferably eon:tructed <br />of -wood and lined with. galvanized iron, not to exceed twenty gallons in capacity I and <br />provided with a covering to keep out rain and snow. All garbage must be drained before <br />being put into vvis elo TIN CANS AND BROKEN DISHE=} WILL ALSO BE TAKEN BY THE BARBAGE COL <br />COLLECTORS, PROVIDED THEY ARE KEPT IN A VESSEL SEPERATE FROM THE KITCHEN GARBAGE. If <br />tin cans, broken dishes, or any other matter is found among the kitchen garbage, the <br />collectors must refuse to take its and it must be removed from the premises by the <br />tenants. <br />3. All garbage boxes must be kept in the alley, or if kept inside 'ence or barm, max <br />must be easily accessible to the collectors from the alley. The cois.eozors will not <br />be required to carry the garbage not to go up stairs nor into basements for garbage. <br />4. Complaints for dereliction of duty on part -of garbage collectors are to be filed <br />-in the office of the Board of Public Works. Telephones: Home 3610 Bell 596. <br />5.
