South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting - June 12, 1981 <br />8. PROGRESS REPORTS (continued) <br />Mr. McMahon reported to the Commission that we have been <br />monitored by the Department of Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment in respect to our acquisition in the Century Mall <br />area and have received a response indicating that our <br />activity has met with their approval. Also, the Commis - <br />sion ha reached an agreement with Boul -Jeff and there are <br />no outs anding properties that have to be acquired. <br />Upon motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by 141r. Donaldson and <br />unanimo sly carried, the settlement with the owners of <br />the Bou -Jeff was ratified, approved, confirmed and <br />authorized paid in the amount so reported. <br />Mr. NcM hon reported that demolition on the Mall is pro- <br />ceeding We have encountered some problems on the east <br />side of the project with columns and as a result it has <br />slowed Jown the work. <br />9. NEXT COMMISSION MEETINGS <br />The nex three Commission meetings have been rescheduled 14EXT COMMISSION MEETINGS <br />and wil be held on June 26, July 10 and July 24, 1981 <br />at 10:0 a.m. <br />10. ADJOU <br />There b ing no further information to come before the ADJOURNMENT <br />Commission, Mr. Donaldson made a motion that the meeting <br />be adjo rned. The motion was seconded by [is.
