Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, <br />seconded by Ms. Dorau and carried, the Encroachment and Revocable Permit were approved. <br />APPROVE CONSENTS TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO <br />REMONSTRATE <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of the following Consents to Annexation and <br />Waivers of Right to Remonstrate. The Consents indicate that in consideration for permission to <br />tap into public water/sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide water/sanitary sewer service <br />to the below referenced properties, the applicants waive and release any and all rights to <br />remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexations of the properties by the City of <br />South Bend: <br />A. Jubilee Builders, Willie Graham, Jr., 1122 Bellhaven Dr., Mishawaka, IN 46545 <br />1. 51608 Duncan Dr. — Water/Sewer (Key No.004-1009-016182) <br />B. Ms. Dorau seconded the motion, which carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Mr. Murray Miller, Local Union No. 645, asked what the LinkedIn contract is for, asking if it is <br />software. Mr. Gilot explained it is a recruiting website to help the city with diversity recruiting. <br />He explained applicants put their accomplishments in and others' will endorse them. Mr. Miller <br />asked if it is only for diversity, and which positions is it for. Ms. Dorau stated the city has only a <br />certain number of spots with the contract and Human Resources will decide which jobs to post, <br />not necessarily only for diversity. She added it is for a broad area of positions that HR feels they <br />need help in finding candidates, noting the Board doesn't have the specifics of which jobs will be <br />placed on the website. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, <br />seconded by Ms. Maradik and carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:52 a.m. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />v <br />Gary A.
