NEWIBUSINESS <br />g. continued... <br />Mr. Ellison: An example of a <br />Class 'B "controlled use is a <br />drinking establishment that for <br />entertainment displays the human <br />anatomy. <br />Mr. Robinson made a motion approving <br />Resolution #613 encouraging the Common <br />Council of the City of South Bend to <br />amend Chapter 21, Article 2, Division <br />7, Section 21 -18(c) of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, to extend the <br />controlled use exemption area to include <br />the proposed East Bank redevelopment <br />area and to amend Chapter 21, Article <br />S, Division 3, Section 21 -102 of the <br />Amicipal Code of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana to designate the East <br />Bank Core Area as exempt from all <br />accessory parking requirements, <br />seconded by Mr. Cira, and the motion <br />was unanimously carried. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Nimtz: First of all I would like <br />to announce to the Commission, they arenit <br />aware of this; I didn't read it in the <br />paper last evening but I was present,.. <br />our Director was given the "Good <br />Government Award" by the South Bend <br />Jaycees. It was a law day luncheon <br />and they gave him some very compli- <br />mentary well deserved remarks.. <br />Mr. Ellison, we wish to congratulate <br />you upon your recognition by the <br />community for the various activities <br />that you participated in and for what <br />you have done for the Commission.
