PROGRESS REPORTS (continued) <br />Allen: Have you discussed this with <br />developer from California? <br />Ellison: Yes ... one of the partners, <br />Bill Nelson is still in town and has <br />several meetings with us. <br />Ms� Derbeck: Yet, you are still using <br />th term "feasible". <br />Nimtz: I believe the Commission <br />not been convinced that the proposal <br />is feasible and can be done for that <br />of money and rented for that space <br />square foot. This is a question <br />remains to be satisfied. <br />Mr. Ellison: That is correct. You may <br />recall our meeting quite some time ago <br />with Mr. Nicholas Jannotta, where he made <br />a number of recommendations. One of them <br />is that we do something like this so that <br />we have the best information on our side when <br />we made a judgement. So, in a way, we are <br />simply following through on Mr. Jannotta's <br />recommendation. <br />Ms Derbeck: I take it you are referring <br />to any of the proposals and not just the <br />pr posal with Mr. Kalman? <br />Mr. Nimtz: That is correct, we are talking <br />ab ut all proposals. <br />Mrs. Allen: I have a question which follows <br />that-did you study Crowe, Chizek's plans <br />to .find out whether or not they could build <br />the building for what they said, and rent <br />their spaces? <br />Mr Nimtz: The proposition was entirely <br />di ferent with them in that we sold the land <br />to the developers and then they made their deals <br />wi the people who develop Block Six. <br />. Allen: I should think we would be way <br />t the feasibility stage of this game. If <br />man has the money and has done work in <br />er cities, I should think that we could <br />-29- <br />
