Baumgartner: Right. <br />M . Nimtz: Bob, what I am afraid you are going <br />to get into if you ask for a re -bid, you will get <br />into about a 2% jump anyway. <br />14r. McMahon: It appears as if the low bid, in <br />a'-most every case, is backed up with another bid <br />v ry close to it. There are one or two bids <br />that would indicate that the people that did <br />take the time to bid a little bit closer, there <br />is some support for that price. <br />q1 . Commission approval requested for a tax <br />a atement request relative to an area <br />McMahon: The next item on the agenda <br />ates to a tax abatement request relative <br />the area commonly referred to as S2S South <br />for Street, Claeys Candy. The staff has <br />pared a recommendation for the Commission. <br />October 9, 1980 a petition was received <br />m the property owners, Jerry and Don Claeys. <br />staff has undertaken an investigation and <br />ommends to the Commission that the area does <br />qualify as an Urban Development area <br />suant to the applicable code for the <br />lowing reasons. <br />0 <br />
