Cira: I just wanted it pointed out <br />because the last time we eliminated a <br />couple of contractors because they forgot <br />to add some items. <br />Mrs. Baumgartner: These are not addition <br />errors, they are merely addendums to the <br />contract, and they are verified by our <br />spectors. <br />. Robinson: I notice that your reason for <br />not awarding the contract (T. Earles of <br />812 Almond Court for $8,320.00) to Aardvark or <br />Stickler ' is because they are 20% under the cost <br />estimate... I find that hard to believe. Where <br />i the expertise to arrive at the Bureau of <br />H using cost estimate? <br />Nh s. Baumgartner: We use a cost estimating <br />handbook that is used nationally. In <br />addition, we have a cost book of local costs <br />which we use as a reference book. <br />12 <br />
