These projects are: <br /> Project#9401 Street Maintenance& Repair Projects $460,000 <br /> These funds will be primarily used to buy materials to pave and slurry seal <br /> the many streets in South Bend in need of maintenance. <br /> Project#9402 Various Design &Construction Projects $409,300 <br /> The various design and construction projects anticipated are: <br /> - Design of Old Cleveland Road from Nimtz Parkway to Bendix Drive, <br /> including a signal at Bendix. <br /> - Signal design at these six intersections: Corby/Hickory; ScottNVestern; <br /> Lombardy/Western; Linden/Mayflower; Bendix/Elwood; and <br /> Ireland/Michigan. <br /> -Construction of a left turn lane on Cleveland Road, between Bendix Drive <br /> and Portage Road. <br /> -Concrete street repairs throughout the City. <br /> Project#9403 Railroad Improvements $ 50,000 <br /> To improve the railroad crossings at Grant Trunk at Ford Street, <br /> Norfolk/Western; at Kemble Street; and Conrail at Kemble Street. This <br /> includes construction match funding and material costs. <br /> Project#9002 Ironwood Widening $160,700 <br /> This is for the construction of the Ironwood Widening and Storm-Sanitary <br /> Sewer Project from Ireland to Brookmede and represents part of our 20% <br /> match. <br /> If you have any questions please contact me at your convenience.
