• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. s O 8 -94/. <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,080,000 <br /> WITHIN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS OF THE LOCAL ROADS <br /> AND STREETS FUNDS <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to provide for safe and <br /> efficient movement of vehicles, certain improvements are needed within the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana. These improvement projects are Project #9401 - Street Maintenance & <br /> Repair Projects, for street improvements; Project#9402 -Various Design and Construction <br /> Projects; Project #9403 - Railroad Improvements; and Project #9002 - Ironwood Road <br /> Widening from Ireland to Brookmede Street. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart <br /> from the Local Roads and Streets Fund for the projects in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO. LOCATION AMOUNT <br /> 9401 Street Maintenance & Repair $460,000 <br /> 9402 Various Design & Construction Projects $409,300 <br /> 9403 Railroad Improvements $ 50,000 <br /> 9002 Ironwood - Brookmede to Ireland $160,700 <br /> Section II.
