COMMUNIC4TIONS (continued) <br />Mr. Robinson made a motion that the Department of <br />Rede elopment, City of South Bend, lease a building <br />in t e Century Mall Project Area to the National <br />Foun ation March of Dimes', provided they establish <br />a prevailing wage rate for their employees, and that <br />they obtain the necessary certificate of liability <br />insu ance, seconded by Ms. Auburn, and the motion . <br />was �nanimously carried. <br />5. STICKLER <br />contract <br />Rrice <br />'of $128.00, for an amended contract <br />PLUMBING APPROVED <br />total <br />of $394.00, <br />at the address of 513 Arthur Street <br />FOR AN INCREASE IN <br />as s <br />t forth in letter from Mr. James'Harcus, Director, <br />CONTRACT PRICE <br />Bure <br />u of <br />Housinq. <br />HEATING BIDS <br />Mr. arcus: After the initial inspection was conducted <br />by t e Bureau of Housing, the homeowner's water heater <br />begar malfunctioning. The problem was checked by the <br />Bureau's Inspector and he confirmed that the heating <br />unit was indeed malfunctioning requiring that the water <br />heat Er be replaced. The Bureau is requesting the <br />Redevelopment Commission approve this change order so <br />that the homeowner may receive expedient service on <br />this health and safety item. <br />Ms. Puburn made a motion to approve Change Order #1 <br />with R. A. Stickler Plumbing to install a new 40- <br />gall n electric water heater at the address of <br />513 Arthur Street for an increase in contract price <br />of $128.00, for an amended contract total of $394.00, <br />seco ded by Mr. Donaldson, and the motion was <br />unanimously carried. <br />b.
