1 I, Arthur L. Hubbard, President of the Board of Public Works hereby certify that pages 315 and 316 were removed on account of the operator tearing the gages while ope rating the machine . President.' South Bend Electric Company notified to put a midnight lamp at the corner of Sanger and Marion streets. Deed received from Martin L. Wenger for a strip of ground at the west end of the Sample street bridge. In return the City will vacate a part of Sample street' in return. Bids received for the LaSalle Avenue, Frances street and Notre Dame street grading improvements under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 69, 70 and 71. Engineer reported specifications for the following improvements: Napier street pipe sewer from Chapin to Laurel; Rush street pipe sewer from South to Sample street; Elder street sewer from Michigan to Carroll; Scott street sewer from Michigan Avenue to a point 90 feet north of LaSalle Avenue. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 77. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bends Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: The construction of a pipe sewer on Napier street from Chapin street to Laurel street. Said improvement shall be known and -designated as "Napier Street Sewer" and shall be constru— cted according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Cilwil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals. for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 10 day of June and on the 14 day of June 19029 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 24 day of June 1902 at 7:15 P. M. and will receive bids up to 10 A. M. on the 1 day of July 1902• IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 78. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement shall be made of the kind, size q location and terminal points as follows: Said improvement shall be: known and designated as "Rush Street Sewer" and shall be cons— ztructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 10 day of June and on the 17 day o f June 19 02 � in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will -give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 24 day of June 1902 at 7:15 P. M. and will receive bids up to 10 A. M-en the 1 day of July 1902.
