7° 1902.• Clerk instructed to notify the Grand Trunk Wes -tern Railway Coo to place an ele ctric light at the intersection of Division and Franklin streets • Alsp notify the South Bend Electric CO- to move the light now between Division and Monroe on l"ranklin st. t o the intersection of Franklin and -Monroe Streets • Also to place an all night light at the west approach of the E•LiiS&11:e Avenue. race bridge. - Remonstrance filed against the construction of a sewer on South Bend Avenue - Engineer reported cost of building South Bead Avenue sewer and Eddy street sewer) former will cost city $5341, the latter can be assessed against the abutting property- The Engineer reported plans and specifications for the grading, graveling and curbing of Niles Avenue from Emerick to Howard streets; Corby street from Niles Avenue to South Beryl Avenue; St --Peter street from South Bend Avenue to Corby street - Petition filed for 12 inch pipe sewer in Dubail Avenue from Michigan to Fellows streets and referred to Engineer for specifications - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 47- Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the Cite of South Bendy Indiana: That: an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Grading, graveling and constructing cement curbs on Niles Avenue from tree north end of Emerick street to the south line of Howard street • Said improvement shall be known and designated as "NILES AVENUE" and °shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications pre— pared by the City Civil Engineer, filed -herewith- Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 28 day of January and on the 4 day of Peburary 1902, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Be nd Daily Times • This Board will give a hearing on this resoultion at its office intheCity Hall on the 18 day of February 1902 at T:15 P• M• and will receive bids up to 10 A• M• on the 25 day of 2 e bruary 1902- IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION4 NO.48• Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as foiiows: Grading graveling and construction of cement curns on Corby street from the east line of Nile s Avenue to the west line of South Bend Avenue. Said improvement shall be known and desig-- hated as "CORBY STREET" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution. and .propo— sals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 28 day of January and on the 4 day of February 19 02, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 18 day of February 1902, at 7:15 P. M. and will receive bids up to 10 A. M. on the 25 day of February 1902. C
