167 <br />r 1._ 1901. 7:15 P. M. <br />Clerk reported having examined the city records and having failed to find any - <br />record <br />that the <br />alley east of <br />Walnut street and <br />south of the L. S. & M. S. R. _R. CO. <br />tracks <br />had ever <br />been extended <br />from that Company's <br />right of way. <br />Clerk instructed to give J. N.. Lederer a deed for Cemetery lot 14 Block 4, rs. <br />Range 1 W. Also to give Mris Kuntsman a deed for Cemetery Lot 14 Block 7, Range 2 West. <br />Invitations for crematory bids were extended to the Decarie Crematory of 555 <br />St. Paul street, Montreal, Canada. Also to the horse BoulgerCo,. of 39 Cortlandt street <br />New York. <br />First hearing on Improvement Resolution No. 41 for grading west Division street <br />from the Section line between Sections 10 and 11, Township 37, N, Range 2 East, to the <br />east line of Olive street. No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The <br />engineer filed the estimated cost $702..75. The Board find that the benefits including <br />the benefits to the City are equal to the estimated cost of the improvement. Improvement <br />Resolution No. 41 is therefore confirmed. <br />Offer of Taylor and Barnes of Lot 37 0. P. on Vistula Avenue for Central Fire -- <br />Station filed. <br />Offer of Mary A. Campau to build a central fire station on her property at the <br />corner of Wayne and Lafayette streets received. The terms of the offer being that the <br />propert;( first be bought for cash for 10000.00, after which the station will be built <br />. <br />at a cost not to exceed $16000.00 and upon the terms of the Oliver city hall contract at <br />50 . Board decided to at once prepare a contract and .deed for consideration of the Common <br />Council at their next meeting. <br />President. ��� <br />
