October 23. 1901. Contract signed with Siders Brothers for the grading of the alleyeast ast of Mich- igan street from Wayne street to the second Uley south of Wayne street under Improves=;- ment Resolution No. 40. Conmumication received from George Beek stating the terms upon P , which he will sell sufficient land for the north side boulevard., Petition sent from Council concerning the river front matters of b. V. B. Skinner on Vistula Avenue. President of Board reported having examined the location of t the Skinner property and the claims of Mr Skinner. In the opinion of the Board authority to rant � it has no g permission to any person to fill in to the river at any point. The Board will give Mr Skinner a building permit if he thinks it possible'to build upon his ground at any point, cannot but rant _ g ,permission to, -any person to fill in along the river b4nks; such permission -if given would be -worthless to the petitioner. ner. Resolved that notices as to the amount of assessments _ ed in the South Bernd Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Dailybe publish Times for six successive days, beginning on the 25th day of October, 1901, stating that this Board will give a hearing as to the amount of assessments on the 12 day of N'oVember, 1901 at 7: 15 P.
