Contract signed for Napier street water connections with B. Thomas'Beardsley. Plat of M. L. Wenger's 6th Addition to the City of South Bend approved and copy filed. Contract signed for Napi er street sewer connections with L. H. Webster. Engineer reported grade for alley east of Michigan street from Wayne street to the second alley south of Wayne street. Same approved and filed. Engineer reported drawings and specifications for grading the first alley east of Michigan street from Mayne street to the second alley south of Mayne street. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO.. 40• Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana,:-That an improvement be made of the kind, sixe, location and terminal poinks as follows: GradL- ing the first alley east of Michigan street from Wayne street to the second alley south of Wayne street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as"Michigan street alley" and shall be constructed according to the plAn.s and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. N6tice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the Above' --work shall be published on the 13 day of August and on the 20 day of August 1901, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at iVs office in the City Hall on the 27 day of August 1901, at 7:15 P.M., and will receive bids up to 10 A. M. on the 29 day of::.;; August 1901.
