Sewer, a pipe <br />sewer on Circle Avenue, College and Division streets, from Washington to Olive street. <br />The L. S. and M. S. R. R. Company filed a remonstrance against the amount of its assess- <br />ment on the ground that it was not benefitted in any such amount. No other remonstrators <br />appeared. The Board however find that the assessment against said Company should be con- <br />firmed. The assessment roll, filed on August 3st, 1901, and the final estimate allowed <br />on,August lst are hereby confirmed. - <br />Assessment roll and final estimate hearing for the West Navarre street water <br />connections from Michigan street to Portage Avenue'. No remonstrators appeared. The asses- <br />sment roll, filed on August lst, 1901 and the final. estimate, -allowed on August 1st, <br />1901 are hereby confirmed. <br />Hearing on the assessment roll and final. es 4-mate- for the Frances street cement <br />work under Improvement Resolution No. 16. No remonstrances were presented against the. <br />amount of assessments but property owners filed a remonstrance against the acceptance of <br />the work on the :ground that the work was defective. The board find the work to be defec- <br />tive, and find that that the final estomate should not be confirmed. The confirmation of <br />both final estimate and assessment roll is therefore postponed until August 27th 1901 <br />at which time such defects shall have been corrected. <br />Hearing on the assessment roll and final estimate for the west Washington stye- <br />street brick pavement improvement. No remonstrators appeared. The assessment roll, filed <br />' on August 1st, 1901, and the-(finalestimate allowed on August 1st.1901 are hereby confirmed. <br />Hearin; on the assessment roll and final estimate for the Eddy street cement <br />and grading improvement under prior proceedings of the council and proceedings of this <br />board. No remonstrators appeared as to the amount of the assessments but a remonstrance <br />was made against the acceptance of the final estimate on the ground that some of the <br />work was defective. The board find that the work is not satisfactory and that the final <br />estimate and assessment roll should not be confirmed. The confirmation of both final <br />estimate and assessment roll is therefore postponed until August 27th, 1901 at which <br />time such defects shall have been corrected. <br />President. <br />
