Last hearing on the final estimate for the construction of cement curbing on <br />Dunham street. No remonstrators appeared. The final estimate allowed on May 24, 1901 is <br />hereby confirmed. <br />Last hearing on the acceptance of the final estimate for the construction of the <br />brick pavement on north Taylor street .from the south Line of Water street to Michigan Avenue <br />No remonstrators appeared. The final estimate allowed on May 27,1901, is hereby confirmed* <br />First hearing on Condemnation Resolution No 1. passed on April 13, 1901,continued. <br />Elisha Peck came before this board and stated that owing to absence of his attorney from 'City <br />he requested that this hearing be again postponed. Accordingly this hearing is posponed <br />until Friday, June 7. 1901, at 9 A.M. Elisha Peck and Hannah Peck hereby waive any informal- <br />ity as''to notice of this hearing or as to postponing -,:the same from time to time. <br />Fearing as to amount of assessments on the south Michigan street brick pavement <br />improvement. Remonstrance of nearly all the interested property owners filed. Remonstrance <br />r <br />was a..;ainst the board in assessing one half of the cost of street and alley intersections <br />.against the property owners. The board find that the prayer of the remonstrators should be <br />granted, accordingly the board hereby order that the entire street and alley intersections <br />be paid for by the City. Engineer instructed to prepare a new corrected assessment roll. <br />By consent of above remonstrators the hearing as to amount of assessment is hereby post - <br />pond until Tuesday June 11, 1901 at 7:.15 P.M. The board also postpone the hearing on the <br />acceptance of the final estimate until the same date. <br />First hearing on the " Frances Street Curb and Sidewalks", Improvement Resolution <br />No 16. Remonstrance filed against this improvement south of Wayne street. The engineer files <br />the -estimated cost of the improvement, omitting the square between Water street and Colfax <br />Avenue and between Washington and Jefferson streets, $3364.22 The board find that this res- <br />olution be modified as follows: for the construction of cement sidewalks and cement curbs <br />on Frances street from the south line of east Colfax Avenue to Washington street and from <br />Jefferson street to Wayne street. Also cement sidewalk on the crest side of Frances street <br />from Wayne street to the south line of Division street and on the east side of Frances street <br />from the south line of Division street to the north line of the second alley south of Div- <br />ision street. The board find that the benefits including the benefits to the city, are <br />equal to the estimated cost of the improvement. The above resolution with the above modifi <br />catio7j is hereby confirmed. <br />
