lAr MAY 7_ I901. Engineer instructed,to report on the advisability of grading east MadisBn street from Saint Louis,to Eddy street. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 14. Resolved by the Board of Public Forks df the City of South Bend Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size 1 location and terminal points as follows : The construction of brick pavement on west stater street from the west line, of north Michigan street to the east line of north Taylor street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "test Water Brick " and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and -proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on,the 9th.- day of May and on the 16th. daV of May 1901 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South. Bend Daily Times. This board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 2Ist. day of May 1901) at 7:I5 P.M., and will receive bids up to IO A.M.on the 28th. day of May 190I. Freyermuth and others for a 8 inch sewer on Dore Avenue referred to the engineer for specifications. Petition of C. Potier and others for grading Bartlett street referred to the engineer for specifications. Petition of Gus Stue ckle for cement sidewalks on Crescent Avenue referred to the engineer for specifications. Petition for grading and curbing east Corby street held up pending the improvement of Niles Avenue* Engineer instructed to prepare specifications for painting the Water and Jefferson street bridges and the race bridge on Hydraulic Avenue and Water street.
