MAY. 31. 1901. <br />Engineer instructed to omit the paving work from the specifications for improv4 <br />ing Eddy Street between Washington street and Colfax Avenue. <br />Assessment roll for the water connections on west Washington street filed. <br />Resolved that the entire work under the contract for the construction of water connections <br />on west Washington street from Walnut street to°Circle Avenue be accepted and approved.and <br />the final estimate therefor allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published in the <br />South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times for six successive days beginn- <br />ing on the third day of June-1901* Notice of a hearing as to the amount of assessments <br />shall be published at the same time as the above notice of final estimate. This Board will <br />give a hearing on theconfirmation-of this final estimate and as to the amount of assess- <br />ments on the 11 day of June, 1901 at 7:15 P.M. <br />Contract for the West Water street brick pavement from Michigan. to Taylor street <br />awarded to Robert, Hoban and Roach. <br />Brothers. <br />Contract for the Colle getstreet and Sibley Avenue improvements awarded to Siders <br />Petition of Mrs Matilda Sherland for permission to erect a narrow stone or <br />cement steps at 1st alley south of Washington street between south Main street and 1st <br />alley east of Main street, referred to Street Commissioner. <br />Resolved that no permits for moving buildings over asphalt streets will be <br />granted hereafter between the first day of May and the first da.-Y of November.
