Truck Turning Evalution The Engineer shall perform the following scope of services to develop and evaluate turning templates for both trucks and busses in each of the four quadrants of the Washington/Chapin Intersection and for a pick-up truck exiting the private drive in the northeast quadrant of the intersection: 1) Layout the turning templates in each quadrant, 2) Evaluate the impacts to the existing intersection geometrics, 3) Develop Exhibits showing the turning templates for Owner review. 4. Meeting Exhibits The Engineer shall perform the following scope of services to develop 2 colored Exhibits of two options for constructing the north side of Washington Street between LaPorte Avenue and Chapin Street to present at a neighborhood meeting: 1) Develop the options, 2) Render the options and submit to the Owner for review, 3) Revise per Owner comment and resubmit. 3) Add Stab -Section. F. to Section A1.01 of Exhibit A as follows: F, The Engineer shall perform the following scope of services for Bidding, Preconstruction and Construction Phase Services, as directed by the Owner: 1. After acceptance by Owner of the bidding documents and the most recent opinion of probable Construction Cost as determined in the Final Design Phase, and upon written authorization by Owner to proceed, Engineer shall: a. Issue addenda as appropriate to clarify, correct, or change the bidding documents. b. Provide information or assistance needed by Owner in the course of any negotiations with prospective Contractors. c. Consult with Owner as to the acceptability of subcontractors, suppliers, and other individuals and entities proposed by prospective contractors for those portions of the Work as to which such acceptability is required by the bidding documents. d. If bidding documents require, the Engineer shall evaluate and determine the acceptability of "or equals" and substitute materials and equipment proposed by bidders, but subject to the provisions of paragraph A2.02.A.2 of this Exhibit A. e. Attend the Bid opening, prepare Bid tabulation sheets, and submit to the Owner. f. The Bidding or Negotiating Phase will be considered complete upon commencement of the Construction Phase or upon cessation of negotiations with prospective contractors. 2. Upon successful completion of the Bidding and Negotiating Phase, and upon written authorization from Owner, Engineer shall: a. Participate in a Pre -Construction Conference prior to commencement of Work at the Site.
