AMENDMENT TO OWNER -ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. 1 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner -Engineer Agreement: _November 27, 2018 b. Owner: Citv of South bend Board of Public Works C. Engineer: DLZ Indiana, LLC d. Project: Washin on Street Im rovement Project 118-105 2. Description of Modifications: a. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: 1) Add Sub -Section B.i.a.15) and B.1.a.16) to Section A1.01 of Exhibit A as follows: 15. The Engineer shall relocate the curb line in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Washington Street and Chapin Street to provide a tree lawn and improve Intersection Sight Distance. The changes in this quadrant of the intersection will extend the project limits along Chapin Street approximately 110 feet, and will result in additional changes to the existing drainage structures. 16. The Engineer shall re -align the north approach of LaPorte Avenue to Washington Street, which will result in additional geometric design and impacts to existing drainage structures. 2) Add Sub -Section 13.2. B.3. and BA. to Section A1.01 of Exhibit A as follows: 2, Develop Parking Options The Engineer shall perform the following scope of services for up to 4 conceptual parking options for the north side of Washington Street between LaPorte Avenue and Chapin Street: 1) Develop the options for parking along the north side of Washington Street based on potential drive closures and spacing of parking spaces, 2) Develop Exhibits to submit to the Owner for review, 3) Revise and re -submit per Owner review comments.
