Upon review of <br />the <br />account, Bureau Staff concluded the following: <br />(1) <br />that it would be preferable to reduce the loan to a <br />more <br />affordable level for the applicant, (2) that economies <br />were <br />probable if the aluminum siding was processed separate <br />from <br />the primary contract. The deleted specifications wit: <br />process <br />separately through a Section 312 loan rehabilitatii <br />contract <br />with another participating company. Original <br />contractor <br />and homeowner are in agreement with this recom- <br />me <br />dation. Approval is requested for Change Order #2, whi, <br />re <br />uces the contract by $6,460.00 by deleting aluminum sid: <br />rel <br />ated specifications. <br />Mr. <br />Robinson made a motion to approve Change Order #2 with <br />P1 <br />is Construction Company for a decrease in contract prig <br />of <br />$6,460.00, at the address of 1513 South Kendall, second <br />by <br />Mr. Donaldson, and the motion was unanimously carried. <br />Co <br />fission approval requested for Change Order #10, with <br />Charles <br />Brown Maintenance Company, Inc., for an increase o: <br />7 <br />.00, for an amended contract total of 1,883.00, at the <br />a Tress <br />of 1306 East Miner, as set'forth In letter from <br />Mr. <br />James'Harcus, Director, Bureau of Housing. <br />roof of 1306 East Miner which was replaced approximate. <br />The <br />two <br />(2) years ago by a private contractor has developed a <br />nLrber <br />of leaks. Unfortunately, the contractor is now out <br />of <br />business and the homeowner is, therefore, without recou <br />to <br />him for repair.
