February ' 1979 <br />South. Rend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Me ting <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. Letter, from Mr. James Harcus, Director, Bureau of <br />HotsinO. dated January 30. 1979. <br />Grant Rehabilitation Contract SECD /2 /PR /CS11, with Slatile <br />Ro fing & Sheet Metal Co., Inc., was cancelled at a prior <br />Re evelopment Commission meeting, and all specified repairs <br />ha a now been serviced. An accurate accounting shows a final <br />pa meat due of $11,132.00. The contract was reduced by $75.00 <br />for some specified repairs serviced by a homeowner. Also, at <br />the request of Slatile, the $635.00 extra repair costs incurred <br />by the Bureau in the completion of the contract was deducted <br />from proceeds earned. <br />Mr. Robinson made a motion to approve the final payment in full <br />of $11;132.00 to Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal Co., Inc., seconded <br />by Mr. Cira, and the motion was unanimously carried. <br />5. Co mission approva <br />el ctrical, Contra <br />of the South Advis <br />n <br />1 requested for the following bid contract for <br />ct Set' #SW /02. in accordance with recommendation <br />oard,'subject to legal c <br />it approval: <br />Contract Set #SW /02 <br />F & F Electric, Inc. <br />(electrical contract) $11,302.00 <br />Mr. Ellison: This particular contract was tabled at the last <br />co mission meeting because of questions regarding the obligations <br />of the contractor. <br />APPROVAL OF <br />FINAL PAYMENT <br />TO SLATILE <br />ROOFING & <br />METAL CO., INC. <br />Mr. Robinson made a motion to approve the bid of F & F Electric, Inc. <br />providing that there is full compliance with the wage payments and the <br />wage and hour requirements. Upon compliance, Mr. Harcus is authorized <br />to proceed with the contract, seconded by Mr. Donaldson, and the motion <br />was unanimously carried. <br />b. Commission approval requested for Resolution No. 571 approving <br />fair reuse value of land and app roving the reviewing appraiser's <br />report in the downtown urban area in Project Ind. R -66. <br />This resolution deals with three parcels of land in Block 4, locally <br />kno n as the "hole ". These parcels are (4 -1, 4 -31, and 4 -32).
