7. PROGRtSS REPORTS (Continued) <br />Mr. Ellison: I do have another progress report. During the <br />month of December, mention was made at the Commission meeting <br />of the Federal Government's interest in the bus lot for a <br />federal facility. I want to point out to the Commission that <br />since then I have been contacted by the General Services Admin- <br />istration regarding the lot. GSA is apparently interested in <br />some Sort of affirmation on our part of interest in arriving <br />at an arrangement which will allow a federal facility to be <br />constructed on that site. In connection with GSA's statutory <br />procedures, they have placed an ad in the South Bend Tribune <br />soliciting property to be acquired. Since my last contact <br />with GSA, I have researched problems connected with what <br />GSA wants to do. I would like to advise the Commission that <br />one o the things I intend to do between today and January 12 <br />is to visit GSA to determine what technique they wish to <br />utili e to acquire property. <br />8. NEXT gOMMISSION MEETING: <br />The n�xt regularly scheduled Commission Meeting will be held <br />on Ja uary 19, 1979, at 10:00 a.m. <br />9.
