I ELECTION OF OFFICERS (Cont'd <br />4) ASSISTANT SECRETARY: <br />Mr. Robinson nominated Mr. Robert J. Cira, to serve as Assistant <br />Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Donaldson. <br />The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There <br />being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be <br />closed. <br />Mr. Robinson moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Donaldson. The "ayes" were unanimous to elect <br />Mr. Cira as the Assistant Secretary of the Commission. Motion <br />carried. <br />The Officers for the Redevelopment Commission for 1979, having been <br />elected, Mr. Kevin J. Butler relinquished the Chair to the President, <br />Mr. F. Jay Nimtz. <br />4. APPOIINTMENT OF LEGAL COUNSEL, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND STAFF <br />The ollowing Redevelopment Staff Appointments were presented to the <br />Rede elopment Commission for their approval for the year of 1979: <br />REDEVELOPMENT STAFF APPOINTMENTS FOR 1979 <br />Director.. ..Carl Ellison <br />Asst. Director ................ .Timothy K. Eckerle <br />Auditor III. ..................Dorothy Deane <br />Real Estate Officer................ ..Jan Beach <br />Planner.. . <br />.. ............. .Kevin Horton <br />Accounting Clerk I . ............... .Josephine Kutch <br />Receptionist /Clerk II........... .Ruth Tate <br />Secretary IV.. .Jane Zimmerman <br />Chief Legal Counsel ............... •.. .Kevin J. Chapleau <br />Legal Intern ................... .....David Crossett <br />Mr. Donal son made a motion to retain present Legal Counsel, Executive <br />Director, and the above mentioned staff for 1979. Mr. Robinson seconded <br />the motio and it carried unanimously. <br />5.
